RIMA, Museum of Work & Culture to kick off Manufacturing Week Oct. 3

THE RHODE ISLAND Manufacturers Association and the Museum of Work & Culture will host a kickoff to Manufacturing Week on Oct. 3 at the museum in Woonsocket.

WOONSOCKET – The Rhode Island Manufacturers Association and the Museum of Work & Culture will host a kickoff to Manufacturing Week on Oct. 3 from 5-7 p.m.

The event, which will be held at the museum, includes networking and a tour of the museum, located at 42 South Main St.

Refreshments will be provided, and admission is free but donations to the museum are requested.

The annual RIMA event honors Rhode Island manufacturers. This past year, the association accepted a proclamation from Gov. Gina M. Raimondo recognizing manufacturing as an important part of the state’s economy.

Registration to the kickoff event can be made here.
