Robert J. O’Neill has been appointed vice president and commercial lender at the Washington Trust Co. He will be responsible for developing new commercial-banking relationships, in addition to managing existing commercial relationships. He brings more than 11 years experience to his new position. O’Neill has a B.A. from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy and an MBA from Providence College.
