Robert W. Ready has been named director of professional development at Southcoast Hospitals Group in New Bedford, Mass. He was formerly director of emergency and critical care services at Caritas Norwood Hospital in Norwood, Mass. In his new role, Ready implements education and training programs, leads performance improvement initiatives and oversees staff at three Southcoast hospitals. He lives in Rumford.
