Roseann E. Netzer has been named director of geriatric services at Butler Hospital in Providence. She is responsible for developing new services in the hospital’s senior treatment program, which provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of serious psychiatric disorders, Alzheimer’s disease and other types of memory problems affecting older people. Netzer previously worked as director of Mt. Auburn Hospital’s Wyman Center in Cambridge, Mass. She has over 20 years of experience in private practice and psychiatric consulting to individuals and organizations. Netzer holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin and a master’s degree from Boston University. She lives in Wellesley, Mass.
