PROVIDENCE – The Social Enterprise Greenhouse has announced a campaign to raise $30,000 to expand and better equip its work space at 10 Davol Square in Providence called the SEG Hub.

SEG said that it has hit capacity with more than 100 co-working members and now has the opportunity to expand to the rest of the building’s first floor, but cannot support the expansion alone.

The business incubator has started a crowdfunding campaign with various levels of rewards that ends on the morning of June 9.

As of 1 p.m., the campaign had raised $4,310.

SEG is hosting a celebration Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. to kick off the fundraising campaign. The celebration will include food and drink, as well as a chance to win prizes from local businesses.
