Sergey Dorofeev has been named group manager for fire and explosion dynamics at FM Global’s engineering and research division.
He will lead a team of researchers who develop and improve models for predictive computer simulations of fire and explosion hazards.
Dorofeev has a B.A. and M.S. in physics engineering from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, and a Ph.D. in chemical physics from Kurchatov Institute.
