Sheila Palmer has been named an assistant professor in the mechanical engineering technology department at New England Institute of Technology. Palmer was previously a math and science teacher at Christian Academy. She holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Catholic University of America and a M.S. and Ph.D. from the Georgia Institute of Technology. •
