EAST PROVIDENCE – Starkweather & Shepley Insurance Brokerage Inc. has recently promoted James Arnold to the position of Vice President of Claim Strategies (the Third Party Administration division of Starkweather & Shepley). Arnold will be responsible for the management of the division which administers Workers Compensation and Disability claims. His responsibilities will include management of client financials, Client Services, Loss Control reporting and Medical Cost Containment services. More specifically James will be focusing on Self Insured Workers’ Compensation and Municipal Police and Fire Disability claims administration.
Prior to joining Starkweather & Shepley in 1993, Arnold worked at Ocean State Rehabilitative Services and United Health Care.
