Larry. R. Smith has been named senior vice president and chief development officer at GTECH. He will be directly responsible for leading GTECH’s Solutions Engineering functions worldwide, as well as overseeing all technology development initiatives for the company. Smith previously served as vice president of the Global Software Services division at Perot Systems Corporation, and spent more than 25 years working for IBM, where he served as Senior Manager, Corporate Common Applications, for three years. A resident of Georgetown, Kentucky, Smith plans to relocate to Rhode Island.
