WOONSOCKET, R.I. — UNICOM is among the first technology firms in Rhode Island
to complete Cisco’s IP Telephony Specialization certification. IP Telephony is
a technology that runs voice telephony over Internet Protocols.
“UNICOM is very proud to be one of the first in Rhode Island and one of only a few Cisco partners in New England who are IP Telephony certified,” said Michael Davis, the company’s vice president of corporate sales.
UNICOM is in the process of building an IP Telephony demonstration lab so that customers can see first-hand the benefits of the technology and how exactly it works.
