GTECH apparent successful bidder in Mexico
WEST GREENWICH – GTECH Corp. has been selected by Pronosticos para la Asistencia Publica (Pronosticos) as the apparent successful vendor to provide equipment and services for a new online lottery system and associated telecommunications network in Mexico under a proposed six-year contract.
The request for proposal calls for the replacement of Pronosticos’ existing system with new central system hardware and software. In addition, Pronosticos intends to replace its current terminal equipment and telecommunications network. GTECH has provided lottery equipment and services to Pronosticos since 1987. GTECH’s core market is the lottery industry, with a growing presence in financial services transaction processing.
