WARWICK – A local entrepreneur has been honored by national IT services provider CMIT Solutions as its 2008 Franchise of the Year. The Austin, Texas-based company focuses on providing managed services and other computer consulting to small and mid-sized businesses via a network of about 100 franchises in more than 30 states.
Jason Arabian, owner and president of the Warwick-based franchise CMIT Solutions of Central Rhode Island, was recognized at the recent CMIT conference in Orlando. The Franchise of the Year award recognizes franchise owners and their businesses for exceptional sales, performance and leadership within the CMIT system.
Arabian was also the first member of the CMIT Solutions Milestone Achievement Club, whose members are inducted based on personal growth and a specific level of financial achievement.
“Building my business from the ground up has been one of life’s most crowning accomplishments,” he said in a statement. “I have poured my heart and soul into this business. Central Rhode Island has been a great place for CMIT Solutions to grow.”
Arabian opened CMIT Solutions of Central Rhode Island in 2005. A year later, he merged it with another local firm, CCS Computing & Technologies LLC of Portsmouth. He now travels nationwide to consult with companies about their IT needs.
