AstroNova’s $272M sale to private equity firm is finalized

ASTRONOVA INC. has been acquired for $272 million by Arcline Investment Management, a Tennessee-based private equity firm with more than $30 billion in assets under management.

WEST WARWICK – AstroNova Inc., a publicly traded specialty printers and computer hardware manufacturer, is going private after the firm’s shareholders approved the company’s acquisition by Tennessee-based private equity firm Arcline Investment Management.  AstroNova shareholders approved the approximately $272 million, all-cash purchase on Tuesday and the sale closed on Wednesday, according to a joint statement
