WOONSOCKET – Mayor Lisa Baldelli-Hunt announced recently that Scott A. Gibbs has been appointed interim director of economic development.
The appointment is meant to enhance the city’s attempts to manage business investment and opportunity, the mayor explained.
Gibbs now serves as president of the Economic Development Foundation of Rhode Island and New England Economic Development Services Inc. Both are located in the Highland Corporate Park.
His appointment is effective immediately.
