WARWICK – Four Rhode Island nursing care homes have been named among the Top Agencies in the US in the 2017 HomeCare Elite report, a recognition of the top-performing home health agencies in the U.S.

HomeCare Elite identifies the top 25 percent of Medicare-certified agencies and highlighted the top 100 and top 500 agencies overall each year. This is the 12th year it has performed the assessment.

Among the Rhode Island recipients were: Amedisys Home Health Care, Warwick; VNA Care of New England, Warwick; Visiting Nurse of HopeHealth (which changed their name in March 2016), listed as Visiting Nurse Home Care, Lincoln, and Hope Nursing Home Care, Cranston.

Amedisys Home Health Care was among the top 500 in the country.
