Providence — October 8, 2013 — CareLink Rhode Island, a nonprofit management service for long term health care providers, is pleased to announce the appointment of Elizabeth S. Boucher as the organization’s new Chief Operating Officer.
Ms. Boucher joined CareLink as a Clinical Care Coordinator in 2006 and has been serving as a Care Coordination Project Manager for the organization since 2009. She brings extensive experience in health care, social work, project management, and program development to her new role as COO.
Before joining CareLink, Ms. Boucher served for two years as the Program Coordinator for the Geriatric Enrichment in Social Work Education Program at Boston College, and as the Assistant Director of Academic and Student Services at BC’s Graduate School of Social Work before that. In the past she has worked as an Advocate at Rosie’s Place, an emergency shelter and resource center for homeless women in the Boston area, and as the Assistant Day Center Coordinator at St. Francis House, a day shelter for homeless adults in Boston.
Ms. Boucher holds a B.A. in Political Science from Rutgers University and a M.S.W. from the Boston College Graduate School of Social Work, as well as a certificate in Project Management from Bryant University. She also serves on the Family Advisory Committee at Hasbro Children’s Hospital.
