RI.gov wins media award

PROVIDENCE – RI.gov, Rhode Island’s official website, was won a Best in Class nod from the Interactive Media Awards.

This is the state’s fourth-consecutive IMA win and the site’s third accolade in 2012.

In 2012, RI.gov won its highest scoring to date in the competition with 482 out of 500 possible points, earning it the Best in Class in the Government category.

The Best in Class award is the highest honor given by the Interactive Media Awards, according to a release.

Judging criteria included design, content, feature functionality, usability, standards compliance, and cross-browser compatibility.
