Tourism leaders in Rhode Island’s destination spots say summer 2026 has been solid, but some say they’ll have to wait for the final economic numbers before they’ll feel comfortable declaring it a complete success. The 2026 World Cup brought international visitors to New England in numbers not seen in years, according to Discover New England.
