Mass. video-quality management firm debuts new quality-analyzing product

MANSFIELD – Video-quality management firm IneoQuest Technologies Inc. has introduced its new Cricket DVB-T monitoring probe, the latest in its line of Cricket video-management products.
The Cricket digital video broadcast product is designed to monitor and analyze the video quality of digital television, or digital terrestrial television. It enables operators of land-based digital broadcasts to diagnose, debug and resolve video quality issues.
“Cricket DVB-T was designed to help DTT providers deliver the highest possible viewer quality at the best price performance point,” said Stuart Newton, general manager of IneoQuest Technologies-Europe, Middle East & Africa. “Operators now have access to the most comprehensive wide-scale, centrally-managed video monitoring capability for DTT.”
The Cricket DVB-T can be installed in a central location for monitoring and analysis, or it can be used as a stand-alone field diagnostic tool.
Headquartered in Mansfield, IneoQuest Technologies provides video-management products and services. Approximately 65 people are employed at the Mansfield location.
