Newport Marriott completes renovations

NEWPORT – The Newport Marriott announced this month it completed renovations to its meeting rooms and Grand Ballroom.
The downtown hotel includes 16 meeting rooms with accompanying hallways and bathrooms. All told, the hotel said it remodeled 24,800 square feet of space and added a video-conferencing area, which enables groups to interact with offsite locations via two-way video and audio transmission link.
“We are excited to share this beautifully renovated space with our loyal group-business and social-event customers,” General Manager Walter Andrews said in a statement.
