Seminar to focus on surviving tough times

PROVIDENCE – Secretary of State A. Ralph Mollis and the R.I. Economic Development Corporation are sponsoring a seminar designed to help business owners successfully manage cash flow during tough economic times.
According to a news release, the seminar is an initiative of “We Mean Business,” a joint venture between the Secretary of State’s First Stop Business Information Center and Every Company Counts, an initiative of RIEDC. Jeffrey S. Deckman, who has started six companies and several not-for-profit organizations over the past 25 years, will lead the “Fluid Cash Flow Management” workshop. The system helps entrepreneurs work through cash flow shortages and maintain vendor relationships.
Every Company Counts will host the seminar at 315 Iron Horse Way, Suite 101, Providence, on April 23, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The cost is $15. Call Every Company Counts at 278-9174 to register. Participants must bring a laptop to the workshop. &#8226
