Cyberkinetics revenue down from 2006

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – Cyberkinetics Neurotechnology Systems Inc., a medical device company focused on developing implantable products to treat neurological diseases and injuries of the central nervous system, posted revenues for the quarter of $439,000 for the quarter that ended June 30 on Friday.

The figure is a drop from the same period in 2006, when revenues were $471,000.

Product sales for the three months ended June 30, 2007, were $329,000 compared to $295,000 for the three months ended June 30, 2006. Grant revenue for the three months ended June 30, 2007, was $110,000 compared to $177,000 for the three months ended June 30, 2006.

The Company reported a net loss of $3.1 million, or $0.08 per share, for the quarter ended June 30, 2007, compared to a net loss of $2.6 million, or $0.09 per share, for the same period of 2006.
