Providence Warwick CVB moves to new home

PROVIDENCE – The Providence Warwick Convention & Visitors Bureau has moved to a new location, the organization said in announcing the roster for its second Providence Restaurant Week, July 15 to 21.
“We moved about a month ago, at the beginning of May,” Kristen Adamo, vice president of marketing and communications, told Providence Business News in a telephone interview today. “We’re at 144 Westminster St., which is really in the heart of downtown.”
Parking hasn’t been an issue, Adamo said. “We have some parking here and we’re a small staff … so we’re really OK.”
Asked about the reason for the move, she replied: “We wanted a little more space,” because the CVB’s staff has grown, “and our lease was up at The Westin.”
Terms of the deal were not announced.
