“Every high school student in Rhode Island deserves a chance to earn the degree or credential they need to begin a high-quality career right here in Rhode Island,” said CCRI President Meghan Hughes in a statement. “Our students are from Rhode Island and stay in Rhode Island. An investment in our students is a direct investment in the future of our state. We thank Governor Raimondo and the dedicated members of our legislature for making that investment.”
