Centreville Bank donates $412K to organizations in R.I. and Conn.

WEST WARWICK – Centreville Bank through its charitable foundation recently donated $412,400 to 15 organizations in Rhode Island and Connecticut, according to a news release.

The grants, part of the foundation’s third-quarter donation cycle, center on support for education, economic support and capacity building, the release stated.

Rhode Island recipients and funding amounts included:

  • $100,000 for Crossroads Rhode Island.
  • $100,000 for Kent County Memorial Hospital.
  • $55,000 for Foster Forward.
  • $50,000 for Meals on Wheels of Rhode Island.
  • $18,400 for Community Preparatory School.
  • $10,000 for the Boys & Girls Club of Pawtucket.
  • $5,000 for Coventry Housing Associates Corp.
  • $5,000 for Jewish Collaborative Services of Rhode Island.
  • $5,000 for Rhode Island Community Food Bank.
  • $2,500 for Amenity Aid.
  • $2,500 for Jonnycake Center of Westerly.
  • $2,000 for Foster Grandparents of Rhode Island.
  • $2,000 for WARM Center Inc.
