PROVIDENCE – A home in College Hill that won a prestigious architectural award has sold for $2.1 million, the largest sale in the East Side submarket of Providence this year.

The contemporary design features a bright, open floor plan with high ceilings, a floating staircase and large walls of glass with views of the Providence skyline, according to a property description.
The listing agent was Jim DeRentis, a sales associate with Residential Properties Ltd. The buyer’s agent was Kira Greene, also of Residential Properties.
