Learn to create a disaster plan THE SOUTHERN RHODE ISLAND Chamber of Commerce will hold a disaster plan workshop. According to the U.S. Small Business Administration and the Federal Emergency Management Agency, 40% of businesses do not reopen after experiencing a disaster. Fire, strong storms, vandalism and cyber criminals are only a few concerns. Many losses to staff, structure and inventory can be avoided with proper planning.
