PROVIDENCE — Eleven years after founding The Granny Squibb Co. LLC, owner Robin Squibb announced Tuesday the company is adding as ownership partners Nick Carr and Kelley McShane, who she said could provide a youthful and fresh perspective for the company as it expands its presence in southern New England.
Each of the principals will own one-third of the company, which makes iced teas, based on a recipe that Squibb said started with her grandmother.

“I’m thrilled that Nick and Kelley have joined the team and are as passionate about growing the company, helping others, and having fun as I am,” said Squibb, in a released statement.
Over the next year, the team will focus on increasing awareness of the company and its products in Rhode Island, Connecticut and Massachusetts.
The priorities include further engaging with retailers who now carry the line, including Dave’s Marketplace, Whole Foods, Wegmans and other local stores, while trying to grow the presence in restaurants, coffee shops and farmers markets.
