PROVIDENCE – International Game Technology PLC announced it has received a West Virginia lottery commission interim license to provide its PlayShot integrated sports-betting platform in the state.
The approval means West Virginia casino operators can partner with the multinational gaming and lottery company and leverage the rapidly evolving U.S. sports-betting market.
“This distinction acknowledges the reliability, security and market-readiness of IGT’s PlayShot solution, and creates opportunities for IGT to further differentiate our sports-betting solution in the marketplace,” said Enrico Drago, IGT senior vice president, PlayDigital.
With over 12,000 employees, IGT serves governments and regulators in more than 100 countries.
