NEIT starts program in construction management

WARWICK – The New England Institute of Technology has launched a new bachelor’s degree program in construction management technology.

The first classes are scheduled to begin this week. The program includes classes on building codes, cost analysis, scheduling, construction law, construction site safety, ethics, contract specifications and quality control, construction industry business practices and management software programs.

The program also has a focus on structural engineering, architectural design and facilities engineering. CMT graduates will be qualified for employment in a number of fields including construction management, civil and building engineering, real estate and land development, sales, architecture, facilities management and government.
