Grants to nonprofits range from $300 to 1,000. A 100-percent match is required and must be in funds, not in kind.

The grants may be used for historic preservation and planning fees, project designs, “emergency intervention” for historic properties, or the creation of preservation education projects. Professional fees training is ineligible, as are regular maintenance and repairs.
