PROVIDENCE – Caitlin Frumerie has been appointed the new executive director of the Rhode Island Coalition for the Homeless.
She most recently worked as a technical assistance provider for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s homeless programs division, under the Cloudburst Group, according to a news release.

Previously, Frumerie worked as community-development director for the city of Providence and as a homeless shelter manager for the state of Rhode Island.
She has two bachelor’s degrees from Roger Williams University and a master’s degree in social work from Boston University.
A welcome reception for her is planned from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Dorrance restaurant, 60 Dorrance St., on Wednesday, March 28.
