“Every great civilization is measured by their capacity to construct, maintain and upgrade their infrastructure in keeping with the latest available technology,” said Sabitoni in a statement. “Our infrastructure is the framework on which we build our society and our economy. It is essential for us to find the capacity to sustain continual improvements to the fundamental facilities and systems Rhode Islanders rely upon.”

The summit will also feature panel discussions covering four areas of infrastructure: Green infrastructure and resiliency, economic development, clean energy and housing.
