The price of crude oil, which has increased 72 percent since the start of this year, is set to fall 0.4 percent this month, its first decline in four months, Bloomberg News reported. Crude rose above $76 a barrel in New York trading on Monday morning.

“The market has run out of steam after spending most the year in an upward trajectory,” Toby Hassall, a research analyst with CWA Global Markets Pty in Sydney, Australia, told Bloomberg. “The market is still coming to terms with the implications of the Dubai debt scare for oil,” he added.
