PROVIDENCE – The R.I. Department of Transportation has been awarded $15 million in federal funding to install 206 electric vehicle charging stations across the state.  The funding, announced by Sen. Jack Reed, D-R.I., Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, D-R.I., and Gov. Daniel J. McKee on Sunday, is from the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Charging and Fueling Infrastructure
