Solutions for long-term homelessness
to be discussed in upcoming report

PROVIDENCE – Homelessness in Rhode Island will be the subject of a report, set to be released on Jan. 23 by author Eric L. Hirsch, Crossroads Rhode Island, HousingWorks RI at Roger Williams University and the Rhode Island Coalition for the Homeless.

The report, entitled “How to End Long-Term Homelessness in Rhode Island,” will be released, and a press event scheduled, on the same date as the Rhode Island Point-in-Time Count, which is a count of sheltered and unsheltered homeless people on a single night in January.

In a news briefing, Hirsch will discuss the report findings and community leaders will discuss their perspectives on the topic.
