U.S. average gas price rises above $4; R.I., Mass. remain lower

THE NATIONAL average for a gallon of regular gasoline is now $4.02 – more than a dollar more than before the war with began five months ago, AAA Northeast said Tuesday.

PROVIDENCE – The national average price of a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline is now above $4, AAA Northeast said Tuesday.  According to AAA, the national average for a gallon of regular gasoline is now $4.02 – an increase of more a dollar since the war with Iran began five weeks ago.  That price is 16 cents
