WESTERLY – University Orthopedics has opened a new location in the town, where physicians will work in tandem with Westerly Hospital.
The new location, adjacent to the Westerly Hospital campus, opened in August. Services available at the new site include sports medicine treatment, spine care and adult reconstruction surgery.

Doctors at the Westerly site include:
- Dr. Thomas Barrett, an adult reconstructive surgeon who also specializes in arthritis diagnosis and treatment.
- Dr. Stephen B. Gross, an orthopedic surgeon who treats muscle, joint and bone injuries.
- Dr. Michael Hulstyn, a specialist in adult and pediatric sports medicine surgery, as well as shoulder and knee surgery.
- Dr. Dominic Kleinhenz, an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in neck and back problems.
