The Washington Trust Co. Commercial Real Estate Group has provided Village Hotel Associates LLC with $8.1 million in financing to build a Hampton Inn hotel in South Kingstown.
Hampton Inn and Suites is a member of the Hilton Family of Hotels.
The new hotel is to feature 100 guest rooms plus a business center, breakfast room, lounge, heated pool, spa and sundeck, and is to be constructed in The Village at South County Commons.
“The Hampton Inn will enhance the quality of the new ‘The Village at South County Commons’ project,” said John C. Warren, Washington Trust’s chairman and CEO.
The bank’s Commercial Real Estate Group provides mortgages for the purchase, refinancing or construction of investment real estate, from several hundred thousand dollars to multi-million-dollar projects.
