PROVIDENCE – Megabus.com will expand service by adding additional stops at the Seastreak Ferry landings in both Providence and New Bedford, the bus company announced on Wednesday.
Cities with direct Megabus service to the Providence Ferry landing, located at 25 India St., include Dartmouth, New Bedford, and Fall River. The ferry will offers four daily trips to Newport Sunday through Thursday, and five trips on Fridays and Saturdays between June 16 and Oct. 1.

The New Bedford Seastreak stop will be located at 49 State Pier.
Customers can book travel at megabus.com beginning today for travel beginning on Friday, June 16th through the duration of the ferry’s season, which ends on Sunday, Oct. 1.
Previously, Megabus only offered one stop in Providence, across from the Roger Williams National Memorial Park on Canal St.
Earlier this year, The R.I. Commerce Corp. and the R.I. Department of Transportation announced the return of expanded ferry service between Providence and Newport.
