PAWTCKET – In celebration of prior president and chairman of the board Dan Sullivan Sr.’s 96th birthday, 230 Collette employees spent time volunteering in their local communities throughout the month of July.

Dan Sullivan Jr., Collette president and CEO, said in a statement: “Rolling up our sleeves and volunteering in our local community is Collette’s way of honoring the giving spirit and legacy of my father, Dan Sullivan Sr.”

Volunteer projects included packing meals for Rise Against Hunger, sorting food donations at the Rhode Island Community Food Bank, staffing Books Are Wings book fairs, serving as classroom assistants at Head Start in Central Falls and creating youth literacy kits for United Way.
