PROVIDENCE – Mezzo Lounge has been ordered to close for one month following a deadly stabbing of a UMass Dartmouth football player across the street from the nightclub, according to news reports. The Providence Board of Licenses on Thursday also ordered the lounge to admit only people 21 and older, permanently ending its 18-and-older events.
