PROVIDENCE – A three-unit building with loft-style apartments on each floor has sold for $995,000, the highest-priced multifamily sale in Providence this year, according to a news release from Residential Properties Ltd., whose agent represented the seller.

The property at 147 South St. is in the heart of the Jewelry District, the former center of jewelry manufacturing in Rhode Island.
