FALL RIVER – EforAll South Coast announced the three winners of its most recent pitch contest Monday, the second such contest this year.
The event was held at the PAL Hall in Fall River last Thursday. Six companies gave a two-and-a-half-minute pitch to judges who then voted on winners of the contest’s cash prizes.

First place and $1,000 was awarded to Naan Americans, of Newton, Mass., a community-building platform that allows home cooks to host classes, share culture and earn money.
The $750 second place award was given to Quest! Therapeutic Adventure Game for Social Skill Mastery, based in Swansea, an original tabletop role-playing game designed for children with autism to encourage social skills development. The company was also awarded Fan Favorite award at the event, as voted on by attendees, which was earned the company another $500 award.
Revere, Mass.-based MAKOMAS LLC, a company that manufactures and sells natural and organic food and beverage products, placed third in the contest, earning $500. As part of its business model, the company gives back to African farmers who cultivate and harvest some of the raw ingredients that the company uses.
