PROVIDENCE – Rhode Island Manufacturers Association has opened registration for its Manufacturers & Congressional Summit on Oct. 22, from 9 a.m. to noon.
The event – held to coincide with National Manufacturing Month in October – will feature U.S. Sens. Sheldon Whitehouse, D-R.I, and Jack Reed, D-R.I., and Reps. James R. Langevin, D-R.I., and David N. Cicilline, D-R.I., answering questions on a discussion panel.

“Discussions will be on tariffs, tax reform and the view from Washington, D.C., about manufacturing’s impact on our nation,” said Dave Chenevert, RIMA president, in a statement. “We encourage all manufacturers to engage with our Congressional leaders and hear their take on the issues we face as an association.”
The event will be held at the Providence Marriott Downtown, 1 Orms St.
