PROVIDENCE – The Carpionato Group has revised its plans for the property it owns at 100 Harris St. downtown, just west of the Providence Place mall.
The new proposal would place a 353-unit apartment building on the 9.2-acre site, along with a six-story parking garage.

The Providence City Plan Commission is scheduled to discuss the proposal at its March 6 meeting. The project is scheduled for a public hearing.
According to the plans filed with the city, the apartments would be placed within one residential building of six stories, occupying some 782,000 square feet. The parking garage would be on the east end of the site.
A surface parking lot of 37,000 square feet would be to the west of the buildings.
Between the two, 558 parking spaces would be available for tenants and guests.
The architect is Gate 17 Architecture, of Haddonfield, N.J.
