PAWTUCKET – Security Concepts, a commercial security firm formed from the acquisition of three companies, has moved its headquarters to a larger facility in Pawtucket and is planning an expansion.
The company is wholly owned by parent OMNI Resource Management Inc.

Security Concepts, owned by Chris Pratt, is an integration of the former independents Security Concepts, Rhode Island Alarms and Block Island Alarms. Pratt purchased each company in May 2018, he said.
The firm has increased its workforce to 15 people and relocated from Cranston to a 5,000-square-foot building in Pawtucket at 115 Newport Ave., the site of a former dermatology office. The company has offices in Braintree, Mass., as well.
Pawtucket was the choice for the headquarters because of its proximity to Providence, as well as Massachusetts and the ready access to highway networks, Pratt explained.
The company plans to add five more employees this year, Pratt said.
