
PROVIDENCE – ONE Neighborhood Builders, a community developer in Providence, has started construction on the Manton Live/Work Townhomes.
The project consists of four two-family homes in the Olneyville neighborhood. The homes also are designed to feature commercial space at the ground floor, which can either be leased or used as part of the main home.

The townhomes are configured as a two-bedroom, one-bathroom, for-sale condo, as well as a one-bedroom rental. The smaller rental is to be occupied by people earning less than $34,000 a year as individuals or less than $39,000 as a couple.
The project is made possible with funds through the city and R.I. Housing and Mortgage Finance Corp. J2Construct is the general contractor and Union Studio Architecture & Community Design Inc. is the architect.
The homes are expected to be finished in winter 2020.
