PROVIDENCE – Lifespan Corp.’s newest urgent care center is now open in the city. The facility, located in the former Benny’s store at 66 Branch Ave., is the health system’s third such center to open in Rhode Island in the past year and a half.
Designed to provide care for minor ailments and injuries for patients 18 months and older, the center also offers flu and tetanus vaccinations.

The new facility joins existing ones in Warwick and Middletown.
Patients seeking urgent-care appointments can walk in or reserve a time online for an in-person visit. Video visits are available under certain circumstances.
