Coventry educator named R.I. teacher of the year

WARWICK – A math teacher at Coventry High School has been named the state’s top educator.  Michael Cook, who has taught for 24 years, has been named the 2027 Rhode Island Teacher of the Year. He was recognized Monday in a surprise ceremony at the school in front of students, colleagues, local and state education leaders.  Cook
